A Road to Hope
This shot means a lot to me. It was taken in winter on Mt Stromolo overlooking the incredible Brindabella Mt Range.
It was during a trying time in my life, but my wife seen the beauty of this image even though I didn’t.
She secretly submitted it to BioPak coffee cups as an artwork and to my surprise they accepted it and it was printed on coffee cups all around Australia!
And to top it off - it received a commended award for 2023.
Freedom After Half Past 5
This shot was taken in the late afternoon along Lake Burley Griffen. I couldn’t help but stop and take a shot of the incredible colours behind the bridge and suddenly a near perfect composition appeared with the National Museum’s Ribbon and a local bike rider all lined up perfectly for a perfect shot.
Not only that - but it wasn’t until I edited the image that I noticed there were even flying birds! what a bonus.
